We met a young boy at one of the houses we visited few days ago, and ohmyGOD how drama mama is that boy! I tell you if his mum wasn't there I'd go up to him and give a good pinch on his arm or thigh or whatever. A slap would be appropriate too.
So this is what happened.
My little boy is still learning to play with others, at 1 year 2 months he's not much of a social butterfly. But my in-laws do train him by playing with his five month old cousin, so far it's been good. Kids that age don't share toys or even worse, get jealous and do evil stuff but Junior can pat his cousin's head when we told him to "sayang-sayang adik". Sometimes it gets violent too like a slap hahahaha but he's a boy.
Anyway!
So at that particular house, there were other toddlers as well, but Junior was very quiet. Takes after his mama you see, not a social butterfly. He liked this toy school bus and took it so he could spin the tyres. But at this particular instance, Junior was holding his baby bites (Wantwant's ultra healthier baby version of that salty two oblong crackers) and standing up when this boy came along holding that particular toy. The boy insisted Junior hold it, shoving it into Junior's chest but Junior couldn't really hold stuff cos one hand was carrying food right duh, so he just stood there.
THEN!!
Out of the blue! The boy cried. Like really omg-I-kena-whack--so-painful kinda cry. He cried while saying "dia tak kasi pegang *sobsob*". He then pushed the toy towards my son to make it look real and ran to his mummy who consoled him.
OH MY GOD ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?! Both my husband and I saw the whole damn thing (cos we were looking out for Junior in case he ate something he shouldn't) and I totally didn't see my son grabbing that toy! So young and framing people already?! Isn't that too much! Grrr I still get angry thinking of this incident I swear if his mummy weren't there I'd tell him off!
My poor son! He was clueless and he just stood there with a blank face! I was so appalled at the boy's acting! I mean, at four years old you already know how to frame people?! Isn't there any more innocence in kids?! Could this be the result of acting classes and playgroups and watching too much grown up stuff? Sigh. I do hope kids like this are rare. I certainly do not want my son to be bullied especially when he's in school. Can be traumatising, unless you're someone like me who defends back (I kicked a boy before for cutting my queue hahahaha).
