Forgotten Sports & Stuff

I went cycling last Saturday! Changi Beach to ECP. Fun :) The last time I cycled was probably 10 years ago, ignoring the one where I rode a twin bicycle hehe. That one I shall not count cos I didn't have to do the balancing, steering and even the heavy cycling HEHE. Can you believe it! I sort of forgot how to cycle! My balancing in the beginning was terrible, my cornering even worse. Tsk. But but. We is faci, so we should be the ones that take care of the kids, not the kids take care of us. So somehow, I had to quickly get used to the bicycle hahaha. Cycling is not the only sport I forgot. Golf is another. Goodness. My swing is terrible. I was very happy the golf ball shot up can! My first few swings, hancur! I was hitting the air. Sigh. I wonder if I forgot how to swim... Hmm. The CSI Las Vegas team should do an investigation on Wisteria Lane. Less than two months to go! Wheee~ :) I went Anchorpoint, and to my disappointment, I went back empty handed. EMPTY. Not even a p

campINC: Heartwarming

It is so heartwarming to hear the kids saying they enjoy and love the camp. Makes the effort and muscle aches worthwhile :) Hopefully it benefited them a lot. And not just the camp, but our mentoring sessions as well.

My Brain Went For A Vacation

I haven't blogged for quite some time eh. Let's see. campINC this FridaySaturdaySunday! :) I hope I won't be too exhausted for work on Monday hehe. Aiya not that I haven't been all perky and energetic lately. Don't ask me why. But that's what's coming. What went on for the past few days? Weekend was a wedding! Close relative, so we were involved busy-busy during the two day affair. I met one of my why-are-they-so-darn-cute-I-wanna-bring-them-home toddlers! Rifqi! When he was a baby, he looks like me and my sister! Now he looks different, but aiyoyoooo he's soooo chubby! Chubby cheeks, chubby arms, everything chubby! He's an obedient boy too! Playful, interesting, smart yet obedient. I like! :) I wish I could take him home. Make him mine!!! MY little boy!! *evil laughter* Other than that, life's been pretty, hmm, monotonous? Is that it? Or do I have such a goldfish memory I can't remember what happened? Oh! I remember Friday nig

Today's Khutbah

I like today's khutbah. Marriage is not just about love, it is about commitment and trust from both parties. Today's sermon will discuss about marriage. Marriage is an important institution in Islam. It is the basis and the foundation of a community. If the marriage institution is weak, then the community will become weak. If it is strong, then the community will be strong and continue to grow from strength to strength. Let us move a few steps back and ask ourselves a few questions. Why did we marry in the first place? Was it love and attraction, or was it due to other needs, whether to fulfill our desires and physical needs? Many of us may say that we got married because of love. But is love alone enough to maintain a happily married life? The answer is definitely no! Look around us and ask those who have had successful marriages the secret to their success. We will hear from them that the main factor to sustain a marriage is high level of commitment and trust from both husban

Double

I asked my fellow AAMer what it's like to be married. She says, when you're happy, you're double-happy, but when you're sad or angry, it doubles too. I think I know what she means.
