Tried Ikea Tampines' halal meatballs last Saturday. My friend said it's delicious, so we went and gave it a go. Tried the kid's meal (we were just taking a light meal at that time) of meatballs and baked potato and chicken wings. It's not too bad. Much better than those fake bouncy balls they sell in packets, but not fully meaty. Would've preferred a more meaty meatball, less fats. Could've done with more sauce, though. But the interesting bit was mixing jam with the sauce! Haha! Had a twist of sweetness to it! The chicken wings were so-so.
It's amazing how Ikea can get soooo many people to eat at their cafeteria. The food looks so-so. Easy to make, too. Most of the non-halal section are boiled items, put together without much sauce. It's not like it's super cheap. Maybe after walking the whole showroom, they get hungry. Haha.
