I attended a meeting just now where there were two very experienced big shot Muslim (I don't think they're pure Malay ahahahha) accountants.
Very refreshing I tell you! I feel like I haven't been exposed to such thinking for quite some time now. The details they were able to pick out, how they can link with various laws, regulations and practices, I haven't been doing that much recently. It's not just about numbers, it's about the objective behind them, behind the actions. Even the way they spoke about corporate governance was like something fresh for me. I guess I have been tweaking corporate governance so much to fit the third sector that I am beginning to lose what I've learnt before. I dunoe! They're just, err, structured. HAHA. Okay probably not the most accurate word there.
I felt enlightened! I felt so, hmm, at home! Motivated, even! It's not easy for me to feel motivated lately. Haha.
I feel deprived.
