I haven't blogged for quite some time eh. Let's see. campINC this FridaySaturdaySunday! :) I hope I won't be too exhausted for work on Monday hehe. Aiya not that I haven't been all perky and energetic lately. Don't ask me why. But that's what's coming. What went on for the past few days? Weekend was a wedding! Close relative, so we were involved busy-busy during the two day affair. I met one of my why-are-they-so-darn-cute-I-wanna-bring-them-home toddlers! Rifqi! When he was a baby, he looks like me and my sister! Now he looks different, but aiyoyoooo he's soooo chubby! Chubby cheeks, chubby arms, everything chubby! He's an obedient boy too! Playful, interesting, smart yet obedient. I like! :) I wish I could take him home. Make him mine!!! MY little boy!! *evil laughter* Other than that, life's been pretty, hmm, monotonous? Is that it? Yeah Good Friday was last week, but today's my good Friday! Hehe :))) Morning's presentation was very well received Alhamdulillah :) I like to thank my boss (who's reading this) for his time and effort and for obediently taking the laser pointer HAHAHAHA. Sorry hehehe :p And today I've decided to try something during lunch! ;) Haven't done it before, and because of the new building, it is very convenient to try out! Hehe. We'll see how it goes :) Toodles!

I am not looking forward to tomorrow morning. For two reasons. A redundant presentation, and a missing person two missing persons. But I hope to hear very good news in the afternoon! All the best! :) My productivity rate surged, peaked then plunged. HAHA. I told you the motivation doesn't last! Hmm. Not all motivation is lost, only half of it. I hope after tomorrow it won't be all gone. Tengok lah! Bukan nak buat kerja, buat ni graph bukannya ada apa-apa hasil pun! Hehhehehe. Okay I shall stop this and go back to work and go home.

I attended a meeting just now where there were two very experienced big shot Muslim (I don't think they're pure Malay ahahahha) accountants. Very refreshing I tell you! I feel like I haven't been exposed to such thinking for quite some time now. The details they were able to pick out, how they can link with various laws, regulations and practices, I haven't been doing that much recently. It's not just about numbers, it's about the objective behind them, behind the actions. Even the way they spoke about corporate governance was like something fresh for me. I guess I have been tweaking corporate governance so much to fit the third sector that I am beginning to lose what I've learnt before. I dunoe! They're just, err, structured. HAHA. Okay probably not the most accurate word there. I felt enlightened! I felt so, hmm, at home! Motivated, even! It's not easy for me to feel motivated lately. Haha. I feel deprived.

I met the wife of my colleague at another colleague's wedding today - luckily! I thought I was gonna be alone, no kaki you know. My usual kakis all couldn't make it, or came at different time. Then then! At the carpark, we saw the two of them walking towards the block, heng ah!! The wife and I are somewhat in the same situation, well not exactly situation, more like scenario?, just that she's one step ahead of me. I think we both can share a lot of things eh... I see similarities. Muahahahaha. We should form a wives club! Woohoo. I bet our husbands will shake their head in disbelief when that happens. Hahaha!

I didn't know coffee can go bad. Okay maybe it can turn sour, that is likely. But this bad?!?! You've got to be kidding me. Mould! 1cm layer of mould! I wonder how long this coffee has been there. Gross. Really gross.

I received my first hamper today!! Usually management gets hampers and gifts from our vendors and stakeholders for Hari Raya. Hehe but I got one too!!! I is happy! But sadly, I cannot claim it for myself!!! Need to declare and give to HR. Bleah. Never mind. I took the flowers that were attached to the hamper. They'll die even if I don't take them, so might as well. HAHA. Red roses! :)

I got this from my colleague: The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling! And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it! Sweet, isn't it? And I totally agree with it :)

Off to Brunei tomorrow, will be back on Friday evening. And no it's not for holiday. Will miss you all. I hope Brunei is not as boring as what people tell me. Haha. But just in case, I will bring with me the 2 latest seasons of Smallville that I have not finished catching. Be back soon!

I went to this launch of an ETF lunch seminar with 2 of my colleagues. Actually I wasn't invited, haha who in the right mind would invite me, I was replacing my boss lah. So what do you do at such meets? Collect namecards. Serious! Hahahaha. And eat!! Free mah... Oh yah, and listen to the seminar. The event was at Fullerton Hotel, and since it was a Japanese company, no surprises that sushi was part of the menu. So!! I ate that. And smoked salmon. Muahahaha. Sadly the sushi variety was poor lah. But it's free, can't complain much. Then I went round collecting namecards. The thing is, because of the nature of my company, I was more of a customer, and people from these financial institutions were like potential partners. So it was kinda fun. Haha. The seminar was such a bore. I was trying my best to keep myself awake, but I failed terribly. I think people sitting behind me can see me nodding off. Oh!! My university groupmate was there too!! But he only called me after he left

Yesterday I was doing some work at night rite? I was really sleepy, to a point where I was typing with my eyes closed. Just like when you write notes while falling asleep (I recall doing that many times during GP lessons) and end up with illegible scribbles and writing nonsense, same for typing. This was still okay, I was falling asleep, but not that bad yet. THEN ... My brain started to switch off: No link rite!!! What the heck was I thinking!! Totally different topic already lah! Hahahahaha

Meringue! Meringue~!!! Muahahahahaha. My colleague brought this today - like 10 huge pieces or so. And I think they're all mine! Muahahahahahaha. So sedap (delicious)!!! I like!!! Hehehe. Okay back to work.
